This 7 Acre plot was once home to Woodside Elementary for over 65 years. After the school closed and was torn down. It has been an empty lot for over 4 years. Well... until spring 2017.

The seeds of memories will soon grow again as well as seeds of  knowledge and the opportunity to learn and grow. With your help and the loving hands, and synergy  of an entire Austintown community. The possibilities are truly endless.

It’s that time of year when we give thanks for all the great people and things that have happened in our lives, we at Woodside Community Garden want to extend a huge thanks to several groups!
1. Austintown township and the trustees who helped let us use this property for the garden, without this there would only be an idea, we thank you!
2. The board of directors for the many hours spent planning all that goes on at the garden someone has to do it so thank you for your time.
3. The volunteers for the many back breaking hours put in to start shaping this property, the garden doesn’t build/plant itself so thank you.
4. Everyone who shows to our events to support us and those who donate, this place does not run without that support so thank you.
5. Last but not least, all of you who have liked and followed our page for helping get the word out about the garden, we will only grow as our followers grow so thank you for all your likes, shares, invites to friends, etc.

Have a happy and safe Holiday Season!

See you in the Spring!
